New main fuse box

I replaced the OEM under dash fuse box for a new modern one. So you can use modern blade fuses, readily available and cheap. Before I could do anything I had to find out how many fuses the Mopar fuse box held.

Six, as it seems. I took one out, to measure it up. And to find out that these glass fuses are expensive nowadays!

As you can see, mother nature has nibbled a bit at the metal and wires.

So I bought a new fuse box for six fuses.

As you can see every fuse has two connectors. So you can link two or more fuses together, or simply connect two wires.
I had to fabricate a bracket from aluminium to hold the new fuse box in place.

This is the new fuse box with everything connected. At the same place where the original was. I had to cut off some wires and had to crimp new connectors on it. I left on some OEM connectors, they were good and had no corrosion. So they could be reused.
